Get ready for a day of family fun, fantastic food, and flowing brews at the Oktoberfest in Berlin MD celebration on October 19th, from 11 AM to 4 PM! This year’s event promises an authentic German experience with a local twist, featuring live music, unique vendors, and a wide selection of craft beers from the Eastern Shore and Maryland.
Main Street Closed Down for Fun
The Town of Berlin is going all out for their Berlin Oktoberfest hosted by the Berlin Chamber of Commerce. The streets are closed for your safety and enjoyment. There is a sidewalk sale going on along Main Street with the kids activities planned for the north side of town near the stage featuring the Dunehounds. 7 beer stations line Commerce Street and Pitt Street. The Chamber tent is at the corner of Commerce and Main on the west side of the street. The German music by the Edelweiแบ Band is located on the south side of Berlin between William Street and Jefferson Street.
Music to Your Ears
Enjoy live music throughout the day on two stages! Tap your feet to traditional German tunes by the Edelweiแบ Band at the south end of the festival and popular tunes by the DuneHounds that will keep the festive atmosphere alive at the north end of town by Sterling Tavern.

Shop ‘Til You Drop

Here’s how to get your hands on the goods:
- Wristband Required: Everyone must have a wristband to purchase beer. Head to the Chamber of Commerce tent at the west corner of Main Street and Commerce Street to show your ID and receive your wristband. You can get your wristband early, starting before 11 AM.
- Ticket Time: Purchase beer tickets at the Chamber tent or from helpful volunteers roaming the event. Streamlined ticket sales mean no long lines โ grab two tickets at a time and get back to the fun!
- Pour Options:
- Regular Pour: $5 gets you a 10-ounce pour of your chosen brew in a 12-ounce cup.
- COOL Berlin Beer Stein Upgrade: For $25, purchase a cool, collectible plastic Berlin beer stein and enjoy a full pint pour! Steins are available at the Chamber of Commerce tent.
Looking for Volunteers!
If you love to go to these fun Fall events, but would like to have a purpose, then volunteer for the Chamber. They are looking for people to pour beer, sell beer tickets and more. 2 hour shifts and then you are free to play!
