Why we love it:  Location, location, location! – It’s on the Boardwalk and Beach at 21st Street and the ocean.  Plus, it has a coffee shop, a pizza shop, life-size chess board, an indoor and an outdoor pool, and a pool bar that anybody can visit!

Why we love it:  Ease of access and gorgeous view from the lobby level – and all the rooms fronting the bay!  You just have to enter Ocean City on the Route 50 bridge, turn right and right again onto Talbot Street.  Then, turn right and go under the Route 50 Bridge and you’ll see the Cambria right in front of you.  Easy in, easy out.  Plus, you are close to the Angler for a fishing trip, dinner cruise, or drinks – AND you’ve got Spain, one of the best restaurants in OC on the roof of your hotel.  The View is located in the lobby and is a great place to grab a drink or feed the family.

Gateway Hotel and Suites

While not directly on the Boardwalk, the Gateway is about a one minute walk to the Boards, one minute and ten seconds to the beach, on North Baltimore Avenue. It has a modern/nautical look with outdoor pool, sundeck, laundry, free WiFi and free parking. Why we love it: It’s close to everything, but you can also escape the chaos!  Great walk to the town’s parks:  Sunset Park and Bayside Park at 3rd Street.

Why we love it: The ice rink and the ability to stay on property and never leave.  Who wants to drive when you don’t have to?  You won’t if you stay here. Lots of stuff to do, places to eat – including an ice cream shop – and you’ll love the location at 118th St in North Ocean City if you like it quieter.  Plus, they have free movies on the beach once a week during the summer.

The Fenwick Inn, on 139th Street in North Ocean City, has gone under a major renovation in the last couple of years, and now their rooms are fresh, with new furnishings, and they are among the most spacious in the area. There’s a game room, pool, hot tub, and a fun splash pad for kids. Their free breakfast and complimentary coffee & tea in the lobby, will set you up for the day. Then you can end the day with dinner at their rooftop restaurant. There’s also a limited number of pet-friendly rooms are available.

Why we love it:  Vista Rooftop has great food and one of the coolest views in town.  You are HIGH and can look down on Ocean City and see that it really is a barrier island!
