2024 Winners Announced! Click here to vote for 2025!

The polls are closed, the votes are tallied, and the people have spoken for the 15th year in a row! This year’s competition covered more than 42 polls in four broad categories: best restaurants, things to do, bars, and best of the boardwalk. Check out the winners and visit their businesses to get the best Ocean City has to offer.

This is the ONLY competition in Ocean City that has absolutely nothing to do with advertising or other schemes.

Online Voting:

If you see a business on this list, it means that voters on Facebook and on OceanCity.com thought those businesses were the best!  Over 125,000 votes were cast.  This year, we discovered that there were obvious bot votes in 2 categories and we removed those votes.  OceanCity.com will maintain the integrity of these polls and will eliminate suspicious votes.  We may also increase security on the polls if necessary.  You can be sure that the winners got the most votes in any category to win.

Locals/Editorial Winners:

OceanCity.com formed a team of local residents and business owners to choose another winner in most of the polls to give visitors another option.  In some polls, we decided that the business that won in the voting was so clearly the best that we didn’t need to give you another option or we didn’t really have a clear option to offer.   

#BestofOceanCity Contest:  

The winning businesses will receive the 2024 Best of OceanCity® photo award plaque and the 2024 Winner decal for their windows and doors which they can proudly display because they are truly the Best of Ocean City®.  We will run a contest throughout May, June. July and August where you can take a picture of the award plaque in your favorite business and tell us why you think they are the best.  We will give away a gift certificate for a stay in Ocean City.  More details to follow, but start taking your photos and posting them to OceanCity.com’s Facebook page:  https://facebook.com/ocfun
