Ocean City, Maryland, goes all out for St. Patrick’s Day with their annual parade! The parade route follows Coastal Highway, starting at 60th Street and heading south to 45th Street. It’s a lively celebration with floats, marching bands, Irish dancers, and lots of people dressed in green! It’s a fun event for the whole family.

Along with the parade, the Irish festival at 45th Street shopping center will have live music from Pat O’Brennan Trio, Irish dancing, plus food, drink and souvenirs. Admission is free and the festival runs from 11am – 3pm.

Bring a blanket and make sure you wear something green!

Tips for enjoying the parade:

• Arrive early: To get a good spot, especially near the judging stand around 44th Street, stake out your place along Coastal Highway early.
• Wear green: Get into the spirit and don your best Irish attire!
• Consider transportation: Parking can be tricky. If possible, walk, bike, or take the bus to avoid the hassle.
