Now celebrating 19 years, the Art Leagueโ€™s annual outdoor painting festival gives you the opportunity to select from hundreds of just-created original landscape paintings of iconic coastal scenes.

Witness 50 talented “plein air” artists capture Ocean City’s beauty in real-time during this 5-day competition. These professionals, many award-winning, will paint iconic vistas across the area vying for cash prizes and recognition.

    • Saturday, Aug. 17, 5-7 p.m.
    • Sunday, Aug. 18, 1-3 p.m.
  • Where: Ocean City Center for the Arts, 502 94th St. bayside.

  • What: Hundreds of unique, ready-to-hang paintings, live music, refreshments, and a cash bar.
  • Special Highlight: Meet the artists and juror Carole Boggemann Peirson, known for her stunning East Coast landscapes.

Sunday morning (9-11 a.m.) on the Boardwalk near South Division St. Watch as they create masterpieces in just two hours for the Quick Paint competition! These freshly painted works will be available for purchase at 1 p.m. at the Arts Center.
