This year, there were well over 125,000 votes cast to determine the winners.

Each winning business will receive a window decal and a unique metal plaque featuring a stunning photo taken by Tera Coates, the talented winner of the 2024 Best of Ocean City® photo contest which attracted nearly 9000 votes. These plaques serve as a testament to the businesses’ commitment to excellence and their dedication to making Ocean City a premier destination.

To further engage the community and celebrate the Best of Ocean City® winners, OceanCity.com is launching the #BestofOceanCity Photo Contest. Participants are encouraged to visit the winning businesses, capture a photo with the winner plaque, and submit it to OceanCity.com along with a one-line explanation of why they believe the business in the photo deserves the Best of Ocean City® award.

Throughout May, June, July, and August, OceanCity.com will randomly select one winner each month from the submitted photos. Each lucky winner will receive $200 in gift certificates, redeemable for a memorable stay in Ocean City, Maryland. Details will be available online.
